Membership Information
A Preferred Membership is available to any qualified candidate, subject to Board of Governor’s approval. A Preferred Membership allows the Member, their spouse and unmarried children living in household under the age of 21 to enjoy the island as members.

- One-time initiation fee of $10,000 at sign-up
- Current monthly dues of $201.39 are subject to annual adjustments
- There is FL state sales tax on all fees
- We do not have “minimums” at Useppa Island Club

The Useppa Island Club Corporate Membership is designed to provide three or more executive associates of an organization with Club Membership Privileges. A Principal Corporate Member is designated and serves as the Club’s contact for all financial matters and communications relating to the membership. All designated Corporate Members and their families will enjoy Useppa Island Club Membership privileges.

- Favored rates and accessibility to all Useppa Island Lodging and Marina facilities

- Ability to fill vacancies at no additional initiation fee or to expand the membership with a small add-on fee

Membership Information
A Corporate Membership is available to any business or organization where three or more corporate individuals (10 individuals max), subject to Board of Governor’s approval. The corporation will be billed for membership fees monthly while the Corporate Members will be billed directly for all purchases.

Select Barrier Island homeowners can take advantage of our exclusive “dining only” membership
Useppa Island Club traditionally welcomes guests from nearby barrier islands for outstanding dining at the historic Collier Inn. Given the private island club environment, Club Management has designed a very special “dining only” membership and a unique nautical dining destination for individuals who own property on the nearby barrier islands.
A limited number of Collier Dining Memberships will be offered to residents of neighboring barrier islands to provide both exclusivity as well as the unique dining ambiance of the Collier Inn. Membership privileges associated with the Collier Dining Membership are for the expressed purpose of dining only. Collier Dining Members will also receive exclusive invitations to special Useppa Island Club dining and social functions throughout the year.
A Collier Dining Membership will be available only to property owners of nearby pre-specified barrier islands. Membership privileges are limited to dining and discount hospitality benefits as announced. Collier Dining members and their accompanying guests are permitted day-use-access of Useppa’s Collier Inn restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner services. Collier Dining members may stay overnight in the Collier Inn or marina slip for one night at a time outside holidays. Dining members are not permitted access to rental cottages or homes. Dining members cannot refer unaccompanied non-member-guests to Useppa. These privileges are reserved for “Preferred” members, which is easy to upgrade to if decided in the future.
Application Requirements

- There will be a $1,500 initiation fee and prorated dues collected to activate your membership
- Dues for 2023 are $1,250
- We do not have “minimums” at Useppa Island Club. There are sales taxes on all dues and fees
- Verification of residential ownership is required from Sanibel, Captiva, North Captiva, Cayo Costa, Gasparilla, Cabbage Key, Little Gasparilla and Palm Island. The membership is an annual membership. All fees are paid in advance, and will be renewed at the sole discretion of Useppa Island Club with current members having priority. Memberships may be withdrawn at any time by either party.

The Resident Members of Useppa have full access to every amenity on the island. This unique status can only be held by the property owners on the island. When you receive your permanent member number you can be assured that you and your family will be able to enjoy full membership benefits for as long as you own property.
This is the only membership category that offers rights of survivorship. Further, if you sell your home at some time in the future, you will be entitled to convert to a Preferred Family Membership and maintain your member status.
