For the first time in nearly 50 years, Useppa Island is under new ownership. Useppa Island Partners LLC, formed by ten homeowners in May of 2025 completed the purchase of the assets of UIDC on September 22, 2025. Our operating name will be Useppa Island Club and Marina. Our vision is straightforward – to restore Useppa to a first-class private island retreat. This is a complex project and there will be frustrations, so we ask for your forbearance. Useppa is going to emerge stronger, and every homeowner and social member should benefit from our ownership and investment plan. The capital improvement project is underway, and regular updates will be published at www.useppa.com
Two key priorities are to re-build the main marina and remediate the Collier Inn. Work has begun on both. We will aim to have food available from a temporary facility from November, and at the Collier Inn shortly thereafter. Every aspect of our offering to homeowners and social members is being examined to see what we can do better and to ensure that we deliver you a first-class experience on island.
We welcome your feedback and will be communicating with you on our progress in the weeks ahead. The founders of Useppa Island Partners are very optimistic about the future of the island.
